Because the dutchseakayakers have not seen a single orka. Sometimes they can’t even see each other, due to the 3 m swell they are paddling in. Today they got up at 4:00 a.m. and worked their way to Checleset bay. A 50km trip with ofcourse headwinds. It was still very windy, making communicating via satphone very hard.
Still six days of paddling to go before they reach Tofino. There, if wifi is available, they can upload some pics and some more detailed stories.
In the meantime, the website is unhacked. Let’s hope it stays that way.
